About Me

Helen Maffini, founder of the Maffini Method, is a British/Canadian educator. Having lived in 13 countries and worked in even more, Helen has developed a unique and inspirational approach to early childhood education used in countries around the globe. Helen is the co-author of the book Developing Children´s Emotional Intelligence, author of the children´s book Sammy´s Next Move and creator of the MindBE preschool mindfulness curriculum and the Thriving Kids parenting program.

Our mission at the Maffini Method is to inspire preschools and kindergartens to provide an exceptional education experience that encompasses all areas of development and uses a base of positive psychology to ensure confident, compassionate and courageous children who reach their full potential.
