About Me

Dr. Helen Maffini is an accomplished educator, author, and consultant who has worked in various countries around the world. She holds a Doctorate in Education and specializes in researching mindfulness in preschool children. With a background as a School Principal and Teacher, Helen is highly trained in emotional intelligence, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Positive Psychology. She is the co-author of multiple books, including “Developing Children’s Emotional Intelligence” and “Kind Kids: 50 Activities for Compassion, Confidence, and Community”.

Helen is the founder of MindBE Education, a company that provides mindfulness training for preschool teachers and their families. She has developed several programs, including the MindBE Preschool Mindfulness Curriculum and Thriving Kids courses. In addition to her work with MindBE Education, Helen offers consulting services for various organizations, including schools, government bodies, and companies. Her expertise includes curriculum development, teacher training, leadership training, and children’s television consulting.

Helen has received several awards for her contributions in her field. She is a member of the Meaningful Business Group and the National Association for Early Childhood. She also serves on the advisory boards of HundrED and Curriculum for Life.
